Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Charlotte-based partner-level role in a nationally recognized Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice. The candidate will lead the Charlotte office, grow the practice, and advise on Chapter 11, Chapter 7, and out-of-court restructurings.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., NC Bar admission (or ability to obtain), and a significant portfolio of matters and relationships.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or ability to obtain admission.
• Significant experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Demonstrated portable book of business.
• Collaborative leadership style with mentoring junior attorneys.
• Highly competitive partner compensation package.

• Experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees or committees in complex restructurings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice within the Charlotte market.
• Advise clients on Chapter 11 reorganisations, Chapter 7 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Represent secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, committees and financial institutions in complex insolvency matters.
• Handle bankruptcy litigation, distressed acquisitions and Section 363 sales.
• Counsel clients on workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency risk management and creditor rights.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm's national restructuring practice.
