Vogrinc Search Group represents a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Bankruptcy Litigation Associate Attorney in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on creditors' rights, complex restructuring, and bankruptcy matters across litigation and transactional work.

You will work with lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors on Chapter 11, Chapter 15, and related proceedings. Ideal candidates have a JD from a top law school, Washington bar admission in good standing (Oregon/California a plus), 4–8 years

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligible to waive into Washington).
• 4–8 years of substantive experience in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency-related matters.
• Experience handling loan workouts, enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigation.
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring expertise: debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11, 15 and municipal insolvencies.
• Litigation: drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy disputes.
• Additional transactional background: distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings preferred.
• Strong writing, research, interpersonal skills; attention to detail; sound judgment.

Aufgaben

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors and other stakeholders in bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation including loan enforcement actions, receiverships and foreclosures.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements, restructuring documents, pleadings and motions.
• Advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy and risk management strategies.
• Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation including Chapter 15, 11, and 9 proceedings.
• Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts, both in and out of court.
• Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its highly-regarded Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly respected team representing lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters. The practice encompasses both litigation and transactional restructuring work, providing attorneys with exposure to a broad range of distressed situations, enforcement actions, workouts, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligibility to waive into Washington); admission in Oregon and/or California is a plus
• 4-8 years of substantive experience representing parties in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency-related matters
• Experience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigation
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise: Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including both debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11, Chapter 15 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases.
• Litigation Experience: Excel in drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.
• Additional Transactional Background: Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters while providing outstanding client service

Key Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency-related matters
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters
• Manage creditors' rights litigation, including loan enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosure proceedings

• Competitive Compensation: Includes an annual salary range of $250,000 – $330,000, commensurate with experience and market conditions.
