Duties include representing creditors, handling court proceedings, drafting documents, and advising clients on bankruptcy issues.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Iowa bar membership.
• 3+ years of bankruptcy experience focusing on creditor representation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach and desire to grow within the practice group.

Responsibilities

• Represent creditors, lenders, and businesses in bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters.
• Handle bankruptcy, state, and federal court proceedings, including hearings and motions.
• Manage collection litigation, judgments, and post-judgment enforcement proceedings.
• Draft legal documents and conduct legal research to develop case strategies.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy issues such as claims and fraudulent transfers.
• Engage in commercial litigation involving contract and financial disputes.
• Communicate directly with clients, offering practical legal advice.
• Collaborate effectively with partners and other attorneys.
