Job summary

First American Trust seeks a capable leader to supervise daily banking operations and support a designated area of trust services. You will manage client calls, process requests, and drive service levels with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking operations and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, with strong communication and collaboration skills to coach staff and implement improvements across the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of directly related experience in a banking services environment.
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Experience managing day-to-day operational responsibilities while contributing to projects.
  • Ability to enforce processes that ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality standards.

  • Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support business objectives.

What We Do

Supervises the day-to-day operations of a Trust team responsible for a designated area of banking support. Areas of responsibility may include supporting commercial banking products and services, overseeing monetary transactions between financial institutions, businesses, and individuals, managing back-office operations, or leading account management activities for commercial banking clients. Partners with leadership to develop, interpret, implement, and ensure adherence to Trust policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Supervise the daily activities of team members responsible for handling incoming client calls and processing service requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training, performance feedback, and employee development support to ensure high levels of service and productivity
  • Assist with personnel management activities, including scheduling, performance management, and ensuring compliance with applicable wage and hour regulations
  • Participate in workforce planning, goal setting, and operational improvement initiatives within the functional area
  • Process client transaction requests received through phone, fax, email, or mail and assist with special projects as assigned
  • Serve as an advocate for team members by supporting employee engagement initiatives and communicating compensation or organizational updates as appropriate
  • Interview candidates and provide hiring recommendations to management
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational updates, performance metrics, and status reports to leadership
  • Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support business objectives

What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of directly related experience in a banking services environment

  • Demonstrated success in managing day-to-day operational responsibilities while contributing to the development, execution, and completion of projects within their area of expertise

Pay Range: $73,900.00 - $98,500.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
