Job summary

North Shore Bank seeks an Associate Banker to actively promote and sell products, build account relationships, and perform teller duties. On average, a minimum of 50% of activities will be devoted to sales and sales support. Some associates may serve as Area Associate Bankers, supporting multiple branch locations.

This role emphasizes high-touch service, collaboration with branch leadership, and consistent use of bank processes to meet production goals while delivering responsive customer care.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent and one year related sales and service experience.
• Must have interest in sales and exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency with various computer systems and similar technology.
• Qualified candidates can converse and read in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Opens new accounts and performs deposit account maintenance; explains terms and disclosures.
• Blend of Teller referrals and production to achieve referral and branch goals.
• Provides basic information on consumer loan products and directs to specialists as needed.
• Uses internal prospect lists to make outbound calls and participates in call initiatives.
• Delivers quality, personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Performs Teller and New Accounts duties as needed and provides sales support.
