Job summary

Turn2Partners is seeking experienced Risk Management Consultants with hands-on RCSA experience to support large financial services institutions in Manhattan. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with ASAP start and a focus on risk and control assessment across banking functions.

Ideal candidates will engage with 1LOD and 2LOD stakeholders, document control gaps, and contribute to enhancing risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) in large financial services environments.
• Proven ability to work with First Line of Defense (1LOD) and Second Line of Defense (2LOD).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for risk assessment workshops and executive-level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and enhancement of RCSA across business functions and risk programs in a banking environment.
• Partner with 1LOD and 2LOD risk teams to evaluate risk exposures and control effectiveness.
• Identify, document, and assess inherent risks, existing controls, residual risks, and control gaps.
• Support development and enhancement of operational risk and control frameworks.
• Facilitate RCSA workshops and risk assessment discussions with business leaders and subject matter experts.

Compensation: $45-75/hr

We are seeking experienced Risk Management Consultants with hands-on Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience supporting large financial services organizations, including major banks and other highly regulated financial institutions.

We are specifically targeting professionals who have performed RCSA-related work within large financial services environments, either from an external consulting/advisory perspective or in an internal risk management capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution and enhancement of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across business functions and risk management programs within a large banking environment.
• Partner with First Line of Defense (1LOD) business stakeholders and Second Line of Defense (2LOD) risk teams to evaluate risk exposures, control effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with identifying, documenting, and assessing inherent risks, existing controls, residual risks, and control gaps.
• Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of operational risk and control frameworks.
• Facilitate RCSA workshops, risk assessment discussions, and working sessions with business leaders, risk professionals, and subject matter experts.
