Job summary

Evercore’s Banks team in New York seeks a Junior Associate or Senior Analyst to join the Financial Institutions Group. You will work on a range of M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments for Bank clients, with exposure to senior bankers and high responsibility early in your career.

Ideal candidates have strong quantitative and analytical skills, knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, and excellent communication abilities. Strong work ethic and a team attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; solid knowledge of accounting, valuation, corporate finance and business strategy.
• Experience or demonstration of managing analyses and live deal support in banking.
• Ability to work with senior bankers on M&A and strategic advisory assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage junior analysts and lead financial and valuation analyses.
• Tackle complex financial and accounting issues and industry/competitive analyses.
• Prepare client presentation materials and support execution of live deals and new business development.
