Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7–10 years in information security with at least 3 in a leadership role in banking/financial services.
• FDIC examination experience including preparation, participation, and follow-up on findings.
• Audits/controls knowledge: financial statements, ITGCs; GLBA/FFIEC/BSA/AML frameworks.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and standards.
• Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response with internal/external partners.
• Oversee security controls for IT systems, networks, cloud, and third-party vendors.
• Conduct regular security audits, IT risk reviews, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with leadership to embed security into business processes and new launches.
• Manage security awareness programs and ongoing education on threats.
• Present reports on security metrics and compliance to executives/board.
• Manage business continuity/disaster recovery program and tabletop exercises.
• Stay ahead of evolving threats and regulatory changes to enhance security posture.
• Coordinate with regulators during examinations and implement corrective actions.
