Job summary

Mcs Bank is seeking a branch associate to support paying, receiving, and customer service functions at the assigned location. You will coordinate tasks within the branch and with other departments, assisting in daily cash handling and customer transactions.

The role involves greeting customers, processing deposits and withdrawals, and supporting cross-selling of bank products while complying with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent plus some experience in customer service or cash handling.
• Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sedentary tasks in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Accept deposits and cash checks within policy.
• Sell cashier's checks, money orders, and other payment instruments.
• Process loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and related payments.
• Balance cash drawer daily and prepare cash reports and daily settlement.
• Provide bank product information and refer customers to appropriate departments.
• Maintain cash controls and assist with ATM operations as required.
• Support branch operations and adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
