Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Specialist Client Service II in Pittsburgh, PA to support clients with general banking inquiries and account services. The role includes relationship reviews, processing transactions, and assisting clients with products and services across a limited set of business lines.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years of work experience, and preferred licenses (7 and 63) or the ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
• 7 and 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain them with a specified amount of time.
• May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Provides guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients directly by handling all general banking inquiries.
• Responsibilities include conducting relationship reviews, managing daily overdrafts, processing mail deposits, closing accounts, and opening additional accounts for existing clients.
• Team Members process a high volume of monetary and non-monetary transactions and requests.
• Work directly with external clients to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Support clients with handling all general banking inquiries via a high volume of emails and phone calls.
