Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a Sales Associate at our Hot Springs, AR location to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate cashiering. You will greet customers, process transactions, handle money, and help stock and clean the store to ensure a top-notch shopping experience.

This role requires English proficiency, basic math skills, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. You may be asked to assist with merchandising, vendor deliveries, and training tasks as part of daily

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store.
• Rings customer sales using an electronic cash register; handles money and gives correct change.
• Assist with shift change by counting money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift.
• Process specialty products (money orders, credit card purchases, checks, lottery sales).
• Check identification for restricted sales.
• Stock and replenish food service supplies (cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, stirrers).
• Clean and sanitize equipment and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas (counter tops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, restrooms, parking lot).
• Stock shelves and coolers, rotate/front-face stock, remove damaged/out-of-code merchandise, price according to price book.
• Check in vendor deliveries and order merchandise.
• Complete bad merchandise forms and training documents.
• Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts.

• Provides feedback to management on training program and materials

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older for AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO/ 21 years of age for all other states
• Prepared to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Valid Driver’s License
• Access to a car or other motorized vehicle.
• Liability insurance on such vehicle.
