Job summary

First-Horizon-Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead a branch team, build client relationships, and oversee daily operations in the local market.

You will drive sales, ensure high-quality customer service, manage staffing and expenses, and maintain regulatory compliance while representing the bank at community events.

Strong leadership, community involvement, and a focus on meeting growth targets will be essential in this onsite, Mon-Fri role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must pass background/credit check; comply with SAF Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the market through proactive sales calls and networking to meet loan, deposit, and fee income goals.
• Engage with local market and community groups to raise brand presence.
• Train and motivate staff to deliver high-quality customer service and achieve profit goals.
• Collaborate with retail administration to plan activities in the branch market area.
• Maintain appropriate staffing to ensure excellent customer service.
• Regularly monitor production efficiency against standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Control operating and administrative expenses.

• Represent the company professionally at civic and community events.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Business development of market area through proactive sales calls and networking to meet or exceed all consumer and business loans, deposits and fee income goals.
• Involvement in the local market/community through civic organizations or community groups.
• Ensure that personnel are trained and motivated to attain high quality customer service standards and profit goals through proactive sales.
• In conjunction with support groups such as retail administration for retail branch managers, develop, identify and implement activities within the branch market area.
• Ensure that appropriate staffing is maintained at all times to provide high quality customer service levels.
• Regularly monitor the efficiencies of production standards.
• Ensure that regulatory compliance standards are met.
• Responsible for controlling operational and administrative expenses.
• Responsible for resolving all customer service problems.
• Responsible for representing the company in a professional manner at all civic and community affairs.
