Job summary

Transcend Credit Union in Louisville, KY is seeking a full-time Call Center Specialist to deliver member services in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will handle incoming calls, open accounts, and process transactions while promoting credit union products and maintaining product knowledge.

Ideal candidates have prior call center or banking experience, a solid work history, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous credit union or banking call center and/or teller experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background, credit check and drug screen.
• Solid work history; job hoppers not considered.
• Must be outgoing and conversational.
• On-site position in Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls professionally and promptly.
• Identify opportunities and offer credit union products to fit member needs.
• Build strong member relationships and provide courteous service.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of products, policies, and procedures.
• Process member transactions and respond to requests via phone or mail.
• Interview loan applicants and forward to loan officer.
• Other duties as assigned.
