Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker to advance project and transaction execution from Houston, TX. You will lead due diligence, draft presentations, and manage client interactions while coordinating with senior bankers and analysts.

You must have a finance-focused degree and six years of relevant experience, including financial analysis, modeling, and advisory services for M&A and capital markets. A hybrid schedule may apply within commutable distance.

Job description

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its Houston, TX location.

DUTIES: Responsible for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm. Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering. Work with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions. Responsible for drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation performing the various phases of project and transaction execution. Six (6) years of experience must include: Performing financial analysis, financial modelling, valuation, credit underwriting and strategic advisory; Providing advisory services on corporate finance topics including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), valuation, capital deployment, capital raising, and risk management; Managing projects related to strategic advisory, credit underwriting, and capital markets transactions; Executing transactions, driving business development efforts, and contributing to franchise growth; Analyzing and interpreting financial statements, equity research, economic data, credit rating reports, accounting, and business diligence, in support of client transactions and advisory assignments; Working closely with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on Midstream sell side and buy-side M&A transactions; and Drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor and management presentations. In the alternative, employer will accept Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and four (4) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- master’s degree experience. 40 hrs./wk.
