Community Trust Bank is seeking a Teller to provide banking services to customers, process transactions, and promote bank products. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and strong math and communication skills.

The teller will handle deposits, currency transactions, and adhere to security and regulatory guidelines while delivering friendly, efficient service in a branch setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Excellent PC skills with working knowledge of applicable computer software programs.
• Ability to use a calculator.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to lift and carry coinage weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sell and/or refer bank's products and services to customers and prospects.
• Demonstrate a continuously helpful, friendly attitude and adhere to Service Quality Standards.
• Receive and handle deposits of all types and ensure proper endorsement on negotiable instruments.
• Cash checks and process other transactions accurately and efficiently per policies.
• Adhere to check handling guidelines, drawer limits, and signing authority.
• Reconcile cash and transactions to teller balancing standards and report daily balance sheet results.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and secure confidential items and customer information.
• Follow bank security policies and procedures.
• Follow bank guidelines before, during, and after a robbery.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and AML policies.
• Ensure actions comply with government regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties within the branch as assigned.
