Job summary

Keystone Saving Bank in Center Point, IA is seeking a part-time bank teller to join our local team. You will handle customer transactions, balance cash drawers, and assist customers with basic account needs in a friendly community setting.

Daily duties include processing deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, responding to balance inquiries, and guiding customers to loan or investment specialists while following security procedures and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Accept cash and check deposits
• Pay out cash for withdrawals
• Cash checks after verifying funds and signatures
• Process loan or utility payments
• Issue money orders or cashier's checks
• Count and balance cash drawers at start and end of shifts
• Investigate and report cash discrepancies
• Follow bank security and fraud prevention protocols
• Answer basic account balance and history questions
• Recommend banking products like savings accounts or credit cards
• Refer customers to specialized staff for loans or investments
