Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Care Assistant in Winslow to provide companionship, personal care and daily living support. The role may involve night and weekend shifts on a flexible, zero hour basis as part of a caring team. Salary is quoted at £12.91 per hour with additional benefits and a focus on compassionate, client‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Bank role requiring flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and dressing/oral care.
• Medication - prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - supporting the client to live independently with mobility.
• Social activities - trips out, engagements and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care- supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.

• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
