Corps Team seeks an experienced Bank Loan Analyst for a 6+ month contract in Downers Grove, IL. The role is hybrid with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, supporting bank loan portfolios and reporting for investment teams.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in loan portfolios, familiarity with bank loan assets, and experience with loan management systems like WSO, Allvue-Everest, ClearPar, LoanIQ, or Solvas. Strong data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Familiarity with bonds and bond settlements.
• Solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Wor(s).
• Hands-on use of loan management systems such as WSO/Allvue-Everest, ClearPar, LoanIQ, Solvas, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce various scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients, including the investment team, reporting team members, and legal & compliance.
• Work as part of a team to provide top-tier service to internal and external clients and service providers.
• Support the trader to ensure timely and accurate entry of trading activity for ISSMs products.
• Coordinate and facilitate settlement efforts with the trade closing team.
• Liaison with traders, trade counterparties and agent banks.
• Maintain data quality and integrity of critical business information.
• Conduct data mining and analysis for Bank Loan clients from internal and external sources.

Our client, a leading independent investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Bank Loan Analyst for an 6+ month contract in Downers Grove, IL. This role is hybrid with 4 days per week onsite and 1 day remote. “Bank Loan” for this role refers specifically to the ASSET CLASS - a distinct segment of the capital markets that includes syndicated leveraged loans, Collateralized Loan Obligation administration, and structured credit operations. Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with the bank loan asset class as an investment product.

OVERVIEW

As a premier global investment organization the Bank Loan Team offers a full product line of investment options to both institutional and retail investors. This opportunity with the Bank Loan Oversight and Administration Team will provide support to the portfolio management and investment team covering various reporting areas, trade support and settlement efforts.

IDEAL BACKGROUNDS

• Experience at a fund administrator, asset manager, CLO manager, institutional bank, or structured credit firm supporting bank loan / syndicated loan portfolios
• Trade settlement and trade support - coordinating with agent banks, trade counterparties, and internal trading desks
• CLO or CDO portfolio administration - OC/IC compliance testing, waterfall calculations, interest/principal distributions, cash reconciliation
• Reporting and data analysis - production of scheduled reporting deliverables for investment teams, legal & compliance, and external clients
• Data quality and integrity management across loan portfolios
• Experience supporting business integration, system transitions, or operational build-outs - data comparison, report generation, process documentation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce various scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients, including, but not limited, to the investment team, reporting team members, legal & compliance.
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure the group provides top-tier service to both internal and external clients and service providers.
• Work in support of the trader to ensure that all trading activity is being efficiently and accurately entered in a timely manner in support of ISSMs products.
• Collectively work with the trade closing team to assist in the coordination and facilitation of settlement efforts.
• Liaison with traders, trade counter parties and agent banks.
• Support the team to ensure and maintain the data quality and integrity of the critical information that supports the business.
• Complete data mining, from a variety of internal & external sources, and analysis for Bank Loan clients.

QUALIFICATIONS – “Must Haves”

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Familiarity and experience with bonds and bond settlements
• A solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Wor
• Hands-on use of Wall Street Office (WSO) / Allvue-Everest, ClearPar, LoanIQ, Solvas, or equivalent loan management systems

Pay Rate $43.00 - $45.00 per hour.
