Thornton Township High School District 205 is seeking a Woodwinds Band Instructor to support all Woodwind musicians within the Thornridge High School Band Program. This role includes organizing rehearsals and performance schedules, fostering an inclusive environment with students, faculty, and the community.

The ideal candidate will help maintain a quality environment for the success of all band students, ensuring collaboration with the Band Director and other school staff.

WoodwindsBandInstructor: A member of the comprehensive overall Thornridge High SchoolBandProgram including MarchingBand, Drumline, Chamber Ensembles, and BeginningBands. The Woodwind bandInstructor will provide administrative, developmental and sequential support to all Woodwind musicians in thebandprogram. The director will have the necessary skills to provide a well‑rounded rehearsals and performance schedules. He or she will have leadership skills to maintain a quality environment for the success of allbandstudent. Also he or she will have the public relationship skills to ensure an inclusive relationship with faculty, staff, parental and community involvement and other responsibilities as discussed and aligned with the Band Director, Activities Director and Administration.
