Jumoke Academy seeks an innovative Middle School Band teacher who is committed to excellence for every child and will accept nothing less. This individual must be highly motivated and mission‑driven; a teacher who sweats the small stuff without losing sight of the big picture.

• Must be able to proficiently play and teach brass/woodwind instruments and form a playing band.
• Must hold a Connecticut State 049 Certification.

This is a full‑time position with benefits. Ten‑month work year. Standard teacher work schedule, including attendance at professional development, open houses, parent conferences and staff meetings as needed. 10‑month full‑time compensation and benefits come with this position.
