Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan a balanced music program and organize daily class activities to fit within the allotted time.
• Evaluate each pupil's musical growth and performance as part of ensemble development.
• Instruct students in care and use of equipment and inventory management of instruments.
• Coordinate band participation at extracurricular events and organize band trips.
• Recruit, schedule, and direct band performances including at least three evening concerts per year.
• Prepare students and documents for District and State festivals; support school productions and ceremonies.
• Oversee rehearsals, concerts, and coordinating with the building principal.
