Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for a Band 6 Mammographer in Lancaster, UK. This 12-month maternity cover offers £26 per hour, with an enhanced £29.78 per hour, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will operate GE mammography equipment, assist in interventional procedures, and travel to University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Trust sites and mobile units to deliver quality breast imaging. Excellent patient care and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Breast Screenings & Symptomatic Mammographer.
• Trained on GE equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate GE mammography equipment to perform high-quality breast imaging.
• Assist in interventional procedures with Advanced Practitioners and Consultants.
• Travel to UHMBT sites and mobile units to deliver mammography services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for patient care and service delivery.
• Provide exceptional patient care with clear communication during procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to support screening and diagnostic pathways.
