Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Senior Pharmacy Support Worker for Procurement & Stores. You will supervise a team of support workers, assist in good receiving duties, and ensure accurate stock delivery to wards and departments.

You will handle IV fluids assembly, stock checks, and ensure efficient distribution of medicines while maintaining high-quality patient service across the trust.

Formación

• Experience supporting procurement and distribution within a pharmacy setting.
• Ability to assemble stock and prepare IV fluids for wards.
• Experience in accurate stock ordering and return of medicines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in assembly of stock to wards and departments.
• Mark and assemble IV fluids for delivery to wards.
• Compute stock orders for wards and departments.
• Support prioritisation of work within the department.
• Assist with top-up services as directed by the Technician Team manager.
• Assist with EDC and OMNICEL top-up.
• Handle medication returns and manage bulk fluids storage.
• Perform other tasks within distribution as directed by Lead Technician.

Salary: £30,630 - £32,346 Per annum inclusive of HCAS

A Vacancy at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will support the supervision and training of a team of support workers who rotate through procurement and distribution. The post holder

will assist in good receiving duties and the general supply of medicines, receive and check deliveries of pharmacy stock, assemble I.V. fluids and stock medicines for delivery to wards/departments and assist in the return of medicines. The post holder will consistently work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner to support the provision of a high-quality service to patients, trust staff and departments.

1. 1 To assist in the assembly of stock to wards and departments.
2. 1. To mark and assemble I.V. fluids for delivery to wards and departments.
3. 2. To accurately compute stock orders for wards and departments.
4. 3. To assist in ensuring work is prioritised effectively within the department.
5. 4. To assist with the top-up service as directed by the Technician Team manager (after appropriate training.)
6. 5. To assist with the EDC and OMNICEL top-up.
7. 6. To complete other tasks within distribution as directed by the Lead Technician
8. 7. To manage the process of medication returns within the department in a timely manner
9. 8. To handle bulk fluids accurately ensuring accurate storage and handling.
