Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, three years of advisement experience in higher education academic affairs
• Experience in higher education recruitment
• Experience with higher education software (e.g., Banner products or similar)
• Demonstrated track record of empathetic mentorship and student-centered advisement
• Ability to build rapport with students and provide structured guidance and accountability
• Reliable outreach to engage students and recruit to BAM pathways

Aufgaben

• Acts as the primary adviser for all BAM students
• Maintains a detailed tracking system of BAM students and progress
• Records advisement notes in Patriot Connect and uses it for case management
• Maintains walk-in hours and advisement appointments (in-person and online)
• Communicates education and financial benefits of master's attainment to students
• Provides regular reports to CEC leadership on BAM population and retention
• Plans BAM Transition Day and recruits BAM students
• Alerts students to deadlines and keeps them on track
• Coordinates with department advisors for BAM students
• Manages transition forms and liaises with Graduate Admissions
• Ensures early admitted BAM students are oriented and supported through MS graduation
