Job summary

Douglas County Election Office in Omaha seeks staff to print, package, and organize ballots for early voting and Election Day, and to set up election equipment and materials. This is a temporary, on-site position with standard hours and possible variation.

Candidates should have at least six months of computer experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be a Nebraska registered voter or eligible to vote.

Responsibilities

• Print, package, and organize ballots for early voting and Election Day.
• Set up election equipment, prepare election materials, and organize supplies.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, supervisors, County employees, elected officials, attorneys, law enforcement, judges, other agencies, and the general public.
• Comply with Civil Service policies and regulations, county policies, and laws to create a cooperative, safe, respectful and quality work environment.
• Report to assigned location with regular, consistent attendance.
• Perform other duties as directed and assigned.
