Job summary

Armor Express in Central Lake, MI, is seeking a Ballistic Lab Technician to perform ballistic testing in the Ballistic Research Lab (BRL) in support of R&D, manufacturing, quality control and sales.

The technician will conduct tests in accordance with NIJ and Government/Military standards, interpret results, and recommend improvements to ensure accuracy and representative testing. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Central Lake, Michigan.

The Ballistic Lab Technician is responsible for performing ballistic testing within the Ballistic Research Lab (BRL), in support of Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Sales, to facilitate the company’s growth and expand our market presence. The Ballistic Lab Technician is required to perform ballistic tests in accordance to NIJ and various Government and Military standards. They will be required to interpret results, make recommendations for improvements and assure that all testing is done in an accurate and representative fashion. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
