Job summary

Tutu School in the Bay Area is seeking a warm Ballet Teacher to lead 45-minute classes using our curriculum and to support families during the student journey. The role involves welcoming young dancers, guiding them through movements, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• High school or equivalent education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport with students' families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including restocking and POS sales.
• Maintain studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with management; use Slack for team updates.
• Create a safe space for all students and families.
• Attend teacher meetings and training; meet defined metrics.
