Job summary

Tutu School The Woodlands is looking for passionate dance instructors to lead classes for young children. Candidates should have a strong dance background, preferably in ballet, and excellent communication skills. Instructors will teach a carefully crafted curriculum focused on nurturing creativity and the joy of dance.

This role involves managing class attendance, communicating with parents, and maintaining the cleanliness of the studio. Join a team dedicated to the artistic growth and development of children aged 6 months to 8 years.

Qualifications

• Strong background in dance is required, preferably in ballet.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with students and families.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred
• High school or equivalent is preferred
• Teaching experience is preferred
