Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Baler/Utility Worker in Apex, NC. This full-time role requires 35 hours per week at $18 per hour with excellent benefits. Day, night, and weekend availability are required to support donors and customers.

Responsibilities include operating the baling machine and forklift, loading and unloading trailers and furniture, with some heavy lifting and light janitorial duties. A valid NCDL is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating baling machines or similar recycling/retail equipment.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and perform loading/unloading.
• Customer service orientation when assisting donors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machine and forklift as part of daily duties.
• Load and unload trailers, bags and boxes; assist with furniture items.
• Perform light janitorial tasks and help donors and customers as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading larger items from vehicles; heavy lifting may be required.
