Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ and Philadelphia is seeking a The Baler/Warehouse Helper Associate to support the Warehouse Team in baling clothing and plush, stacking gaylords, and helping load trucks with bales of clothing.

The role requires adherence to safety policies, professional etiquette, and the ability to work independently while completing daily salvage paperwork and logs. Cross-training in waste management and material handling is available.

Qualifications

• Complete daily and weekly salvage paperwork and logs as instructed by supervisor.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Bale clothing or plush and load bales into trucks when needed.
• Stack and unstack gaylords; keep work area neat and orderly.
• Assist with waste management, material handling, barcoding, or processing as cross-trained.

The Baler/Warehouse Helper Associate has the responsibility of baling clothing or plush, stacking and unstacking gaylords, and helping load trucks with bales of clothing. The position is a member of the Warehouse Team.SPECIFIC DUTIESFollow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.Operate top loading clothing baler.Operate forklift after training and certification.Must be able to work unsupervised. Filling baler with bale. Tying off baler with provided wire and use of forklift and hand jack when needed. Responsible for emptying gaylords of donated goods into baler.Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.Complete daily and weekly salvage paperwork and logs as instructed by supervisor.Will receive cross-training in waste management, material handling, barcoding, or processing.Regular attendance is required.
