Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is seeking a Baler Operator for our North Canton warehouse. You will operate the baler and tie off baled textiles following procedures and safety standards.

You will move baled textiles from Gaylords and assist in dock operations and material transport. Requirements include a High School diploma, ability to perform strenuous tasks, and a tolerance for a safety-sensitive environment with drug testing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Tow motor experience preferred.
• Ability to judge distance, speed, and movement of objects.
• Safety-sensitive position with random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Load the baler safely and efficiently.
• Ensure only appropriate textile pieces are baled.
• Work with lead baler to maintain equipment and bale quality.
• Keep baler room, dock, and warehouse clean and safe.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Trash disposal per designated procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
