Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is hiring a Baler to join our Sustainability team in Kingsport, TN. This physically active role focuses on producing quality bales and supporting our mission of sustainability and job training in the community.

You will operate the baler, process various materials, and help meet daily quotas while following safety guidelines. Prior baling or forklift experience is a plus but not required; a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills are helpful.
• Strong focus and task-oriented.
• Ability to bend, lift, push, and pull throughout shift.
• Comfortable in a physical, production-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the baler safely and efficiently following established procedures.
• Process cardboard, clothing, plastics, and other materials into bales.
• Meet daily production quotas and maintain bale quality.
• Load, distribute, and compact materials in the baler.
• Secure bales with wire and keep the area clean and organized.
