Job summary

Wisconsin Converting, Inc is seeking a Baler Operator for the night shift to support the production floor. You will operate the baler, collect scrap, load finished bales, and keep the workspace clean and organized.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday Nights, 10 hour shifts; see application for schedule options. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods; forklift and baler experience preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required; baler experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collecting scrap bins from production floor, emptying and returning
• Processing scrap through baler, creating scrap bales, and wiring bales
• Moving finished bales from conveyor to trailer via forklift
• Segregating bales based on specified procedures
• Recording production info into system, using scale when necessary
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Adhering to company rules and workplace policies
• Miscellaneous duties to assist production floor
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

The Baler Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production floor. They assist in collecting paper scrap bins from the production floor and processing scrap through the baler machine, moving bales to designated area via forklift when complete.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collecting scrap bins from production floor, emptying and returning
• Processing scrap through baler, creating scrap bales, and wiring bales
• Moving finished bales from conveyor to trailer via forklift
• Segregating bales based on specified procedures
• Recording production info into system, using scale when necessary
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Adhering to company rules and workplace policies
• Miscellaneous duties to assist production floor
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

• Forklift experience, preferred but not required
• Baler experience, preferred but not required
