Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions.
• Ability to read and speak English a plus.
• Ability to use tools safely and properly.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Check orders and travelers to determine priority for fan/wheel testing.
• Troubleshoot balance equipment with supervision.
• Add weights to fans/wheels by weld or clip on, and remove by grinding.
• Operate forklift, bridge crane or pallet jack to move materials in/out of area.
• Verify calibration of balancer and record results.
• Final quality inspection of the fan/wheel and ensure correct blade specs.
• May have duties vary by department; act per core values.
