Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will build customer connections, help shoppers find products, maintain attractive displays, stock and rotate items, and work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. No prior retail experience required, but a customer-first mindset and willingness to stay active and learn our store technology will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Detail-oriented with ability to stay organized.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing) and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
