Job summary

Sam’s Club is seeking a Bakery/Packager Associate to help prepare fresh baked items daily by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. You’ll assist members with bakery orders, maintain a clean and organized area, and work with a large team toward a common goal of happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teammates, following recipes and food-safety standards, and using handheld devices to support production decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Provide exceptional customer service to members
• Follow recipes and ensure proper labeling and packaging
• Maintain clean, organized, member-ready areas
• Operate baking equipment and assist with production as needed

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team and adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, storing, and ensuring food safety and inventory controls.
• Be a Techie: Use handheld tools to support production decisions and product quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner: Maintain work area, ensure quality and date control, prevent waste, and assist members with purchases.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Deliver high-quality service and set an example for the team.
• Follow company policies and ethical standards in daily tasks.
• Complete tasks by coordinating with managers and coworkers and adapting to feedback.
