Job summary

Levain Bakery in Newport Beach is hiring a Porter to help keep our store clean and ensure high health standards. You will sanitize food prep areas, maintain cleanliness across customer areas, and support daily operations to help the bakery run smoothly.

The right candidate is detail‑oriented, reliable, and a team player with good communication. Open availability including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to learn and grow with the Levain

Qualifications

• Prior custodian or porter experience in F&B or retail is preferred.
• Open availability: mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 pounds, including overhead.
• Stand/walk for a full shift (8 hours) with breaks; some locations may have stairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all store areas, including customer areas and restrooms.
• Sanitize and sanitize surfaces in food prep and display areas.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of bakery displays and equipment.
