Sam's Club in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Bakery/Packager to prepare fresh baked items daily, wrap and label products, and assist members with bakery orders. You will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a large team focused on happy, satisfied members and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, using handheld devices to support production decisions, and ensuring proper packaging and storage of goods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if selected for the position

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members; adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise following recipes; wrap, label, store merchandise; ensure food safety and inventory control.
• Be a Techie: Use handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; assist with production decisions.
• Be an Owner: Maintain work area per policies; ensure quality and proper packaging and labeling of bakery items.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Represent the department and club with high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy and commitment.
