Job summary

A local bakery seeks a Packaging Associate for part-time work from 4pm-9pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include preparing machines and monitoring production processes, as well as maintaining records and ensuring product quality. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and teamwork abilities. This position requires lifting and working in a dynamic environment. The hourly pay ranges from $17 to $18, and weekends are off.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Packaging & Production Operator position is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of production procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work at different work stations or tasks as packaging needs require.
• Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning.
• Monitor and properly adjust machine settings.
• Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Check parts with precision using appropriate measuring tools.
• Conduct tests to check the operation of machines regularly.
• Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
• Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Create and manage records of approved and defective units.
• Create and maintain activity logs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Packaging Associates are expected to
