Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicating with team members; flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; following recipes; wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools.
• Be an Owner: Maintains operations area per policies; ensures quality and date control; secures fragile and high-shrink items; eliminates waste; assists members with purchases; ensures proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by delivering high-quality service and products; supports policy compliance; collaborates with managers and partners to meet deadlines and adapt to change.
