Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Garland, TX is seeking a Bakery Oven Operator responsible for bread production for store openings, quality checks, and keeping displays stocked.

You will greet customers, organize displays, coordinate with management and the baking team, perform regular inventory, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. Experience in customer service and retail is valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Organize products in display cases and tables while ensuring fully stocked cases.
• Effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill requests.
• Conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety and sanitation.
• Stock, fill, price-check, and rotate bakery items; discard outdated items.
• Operate bakery equipment including heat sources, mixers, and blenders.
• Take food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.
