Job summary

Colony Brands Inc. in Monroe, WI, is looking for Maintenance Technicians to support our bakery operations through hands-on equipment and facility maintenance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You’ll set up machinery for production runs and maintain work orders and parts inventory, with building and office maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education; two years in a technical field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including drive chains, timing belts, gear boxes, bearings and lubrication.
• Experience with electrical systems; troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment; electrical license preferred.
• Forklift operation, welding and machining skills are a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work requests from Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Tech, and Bakery staff.
• Troubleshoot production processes and identify additional repair work needed.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs, including wiring, control panels, motors, and electrical components.
• Ensure safety standards and electrical codes compliance.
• Support installation and setup of new equipment, including electrical connections.

Job description

We're looking for dependable and skilled Maintenance Technicians to support our bakery operations through hands‑on equipment and facility maintenance. This role involves mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, with a focus on keeping production running smoothly. Experience with electrical maintenance is highly valued, and an electrical license is preferred.

We have openings on 1st and 2nd shift.

What You'll Do:

Our Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of bakery equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You'll set up machinery for production runs and maintains documentation of work orders and parts inventory. Our team performs building and office maintenance as needed.

• Responding to work requests from Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Tech, and other Bakery staff
• Troubleshooting production processes and identifying additional repair work needed
• Performing electrical maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing and fixing wiring, control panels, motors, and other electrical components
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
• Supporting installation and setup of new equipment, including electrical connections

Qualifications

We need an individual who is able to work independently and make decisions with confidence. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is able to prioritize work assignments in a fast paced work environment. Ideally, you will possess skills to operate a forklift and have welding and machining skills.
