• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer samples to customers to promote products.
• Provide fresh products, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following safety and temperature logs.
• Measure and prepare ingredients per recipes.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates.
• Maintain cases full and fresh per bakery standards.
• Participate in sales development for cake and pastry items.
• Assist customers with cake decorating orders and inquiries.
• Communicate needs to Bakery Manager.
• Maintain inventory for cake and pastry supplies, update kit books.
• Report discrepancies in product orders/shipping.
• Locate products within store and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Monitor inventory and stocking conditions, report issues.
• Follow all food safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, inspect equipment, and report hazards.
• Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities.
