Holiday Stationstores is seeking a delivery driver in Anchorage, AK. You will transport fresh and frozen foods to multiple locations, loading at the commissary and unloading at stores. The role requires safe driving, adherence to regulations, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D driver's license; CDL not required.
• One year truck driving experience required.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Physical Capacities exam and drug screen required.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a 26’ straight truck.
• Load the truck at the Anchorage commissary.
• Unload at various Holiday Stationstores locations.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Use GPS Fleet Tracking system (PeopleNet).
• Complete required paperwork and refuel the truck.
• Interact courteously with coworkers and customers.
• Follow DOT, USDA, FDA, OSHA and internal policies and GMPs.

Job Summary

Individual will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen food products to various Holiday Stationstores locations in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a 26’ straight truck
• Load the truck at Holiday Commissary in Anchorage, Alaska
• Unload the truck at various Holiday Stationstores locations
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Utilize PeopleNet – a GPS Fleet Tracking system
• Complete appropriate paperwork
• Re-fuel the truck
• Interact with Stationstores employees, co-workers and customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Other duties as assigned by HSF Management, Supervisors and/or Leads
• Perform all duties in compliance with DOT, USDA, FDA, OSHA and state and local regulations and company policies and procedures; including safety guidelines and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class D driver’s license in the state you reside; CDL is not required
• One year truck driving experience required
• A clean driving record required
• No positive drug or alcohol test results or refusals to be tested for the two previous years
• Must be able to read loading instructions, posted notices and training tests
• Must be able to perform simple arithmetic skills – add, subtract and multiply
• Must have high level of job motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must pass Department of Transportation Physical Capacities exam and drug screen
• Must pass criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to enter cab and box of truck safely using 3 points of contact
• Lift, push, pull and carry 50-75 lbs.
