Price Chopper, part of Balls Food Stores, seeks an experienced Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department. You will own daily operations, coach the team, ensure product quality and freshness, and drive sales while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You'll balance leadership, production, merchandising, inventory, ordering, food safety, and guest service to keep the department well-stocked and visually appealing for guests each day.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a bakery or food department.
• Strong supervision, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and department operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including holidays.

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise, train, develop, evaluate, and coach Bakery Department teammates to deliver exceptional guest hospitality and strong department performance.
• Establish clear expectations for productivity, guest service, food quality, department standards, and daily execution.
• Manage department schedules and staffing levels to support business needs while operating within labor budgets.
• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations to ensure products are fresh, available, properly prepared, and attractively displayed.
• Lead and support bakery production, preparation, packaging, and merchandising according to company standards.
• Ensure teammates follow approved recipes, portioning, production procedures, and quality standards.
