Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Bakery/Deli associate to prepare, package, and display bakery and deli products in a fast-paced retail setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and guest experience while contributing to store profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the production planner, stocking, and maintaining product dating. A high school diploma and basic math skills are required, with prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products according to the production planner.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products per plan.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products; rotate and date cases.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to support growth.
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager when orders are needed.
• Understand basic arithmetic for recipes and inventories.
• Communicate tasks and cleaning steps to teammates.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
