Hansen’s IGA Market in Wisconsin is seeking a Deli/Bakery Associate to deliver friendly, best-in-class service at the deli/bakery counter and on the sales floor. You will weigh, package, and price bakery items and deli meats and cheeses, slice as needed, and help prepare daily salads and dips.

This fast-paced role requires a friendly team player who can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with stocking, sanitation logs, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the Deli/Bakery counter and on the sales floor.
• Slice meats and cheeses using the deli slicer; weigh, package, price, and label items.
• Prepare salad bar items, deli salads, pizzas, sandwiches/wraps, and dips as production schedules require.
• Assist with stocking, rotating, and facing the Deli/Bakery department; maintain back coolers.
• Maintain sanitation and temperature logs; operate and clean deli equipment.

Job DescriptionAs a part of the Hansen’s IGA Market team, the Deli/Bakery Associate is responsible for delivering “best in class” customer service to all guests at the Deli/Bakery counter and on the sales floor. The responsibilities of the Deli/Bakery Associate is to weigh, package, and price items bakery products as well as products from the deli cold case and slice meats and cheeses using the deli slicer. The Deli/Bakery Associate may also prepare the daily salad bar, various deli salads, dip selections based on pre-established recipes.
