Job summary

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable demeanor required.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team.
• Capability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Strong guest service and selling skills are preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare bakery products for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness on displays.
• Assist in cake decorating as requested.
• Maintain sanitation in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales floor.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply areas neat and tidy at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front-end duties to help ensure no noticeable wait for guests.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
