Job summary

Meijer in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly customer service, share product knowledge, and ensure appealing displays across Fresh departments. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, and use technology to complete tasks accurately.

You’ll interact with customers and teammates, building connections and providing efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
