Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build rapport at the counter.
• Maintain friendly, outgoing demeanor with eye contact and body language.
• Answer customer questions effectively.
• Stock products and keep displays updated per merchandising standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic sanitation in the department.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, dating, and handling of baked goods.
• Sort baked goods from the oven when needed and fulfill product orders on the floor.
• May perform other duties as assigned; cake decorating/baking tasks require training and approval.
